1970 Morris Minor 50 CU. FT. Mailvan
This lovely Morris Minor mailvan was photographed on Southsea Common in 1993, shortly after being restored by post office staff.
Morris Motors supplied its very last Minor van to the Post Office, and it operated at Blandford Forum, Dorset; it was registered by the head postmaster of Bournemouth and poole in February 1970. It was a batch of 1,350 vans ordered in 1969, and operated the from Christchurch sub-office until it was replaced in October 1975.
The is presented in a highly detailed box, complete with a collectors card and a fold out card with the history of the Morris, on the reverse of the card there is a layout which details and vary different aspects of the postal van.
