On 16th November 2010 it was announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton are to marry on 29th April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London.
The Prince, second in line to the throne, proposed to Kate whilst on holiday in Kenya in October 2010. The couple began dating in 2003 when they were both students at St Andrews University.
All eyes will be on SW1 as the Royal Wedding is expected to attract a worldwide television audience of 2.5 billion with hundreds of thousands of well wishers lining the streets of London on the big day. To ensure that it will be a truly national celebration, the day has been declared a public holiday.
Like the Royal Family the Mini is an icon of all things British and it seems fitting that Corgi continues to celebrate the timeless Mini with this limited edition commemorative model.
